If Distortion Theory is
correct, the connection of the external agent with the psyche of children
should produce close encounters involving elements inherent in a child's mind
(dinosaurs, guns, little men, periscopes, et
cetera).
In the events that we provide
here, one clearly observes the interaction of the external agent with the
young witnesses.
Incidents with Sunderland are very
interesting, because both brothers connected with the foreign agent, on a
different date, and both were able to develop similar close encounters, keeping
some elements in common, but differing in aspects because of the different
games and preferences of a
boy or girl.
Although is necessary to emphasize
that in both incidents the crew of UFOs offer some behaviors that may be
comparable to children's games.
Even in the case of Darren Suderland
the strange humanoids manifested infantile behavior, demonstrating
joy or anger, depending on whether they could or could not carry out their
duties properly.
Close encounter with a small humanoid
armed with a "Hair dryer"
Gaul
ufologists Michel Henri and Julien Figuet interviewed Frank N. (in 1993) who,
in the spring of 1965, had a close encounter with a small armed
"alien."
The
witness was 12, driving a bicycle in Sorgues (Vaucluse, France), about 16:00
pm, near a forest, when he saw a small humanoid about 50 inches tall dressed
from head to toe in a shiny suit.
His
head was shaped like an egg with big eyes, a thin mouth, and no ears.
When
the witness approached, the witness stood motionless for a few seconds. The
humanoid walked by lifting its foot much like a jump, emitting sounds like;
"hic ... hic ...".
He
ran but the child followed him for several meters. Suddenly the humanoid turned
around and greeted the witness with his hand and ordered him to stop.
But
the witness, Frank, put his hand on his heart and said "my friend"
two or three times.
The
being did not seem to understand the gesture, looked scared and took a step
backward.
The
witness said he saw a strange artifact that seemed constructed of a
"flexible" material. The object looked vaguely like a big box of
matches with very rounded corners, was 3 meters high, 1 meter wide and 80
centimeters deep.
At
the top was a round "cottage" shining like a fluorescent tube.
When
the boy approached the humanoid, intending to catch it, the humanoid intuited
his intention, and pulled out a "gun" that looked like a hairdryer
pointed it at the witness who lost his balance and was paralyzed.
According
to Frank the place also had a man who was paralyzed.
The
small occupant rose to the artifact as the upper part the object “expanded" slightly.
The
object was in a narrow place in the forest, and when it rose through the trees,
it did so without touching or breaking anything, and without making any noise.
It
moved about 30 meters and landed in a nearby field. A farmer and a driver of a
vehicle were near the scene and saw the object flying at an angle, with a
slight hiss; then the artifact glowed and witnesses observed that inside were
three humanoids.
Soon
the boy was able to move as was the paralyzed man. Frank was questioned at the
gendarmerie in Sorgues.
The amazing encounter of the Sundenland
siblings
British
ufologists Jenny Randles and Paul Whetnall investigated some interesting events
that occurred to two members of the same family. The incident was published in
"Alien Contact: Window on Another World” (1981).
In
July 1976, Gaynor (9) and her brother Darren Sunderland (8) had close
encounters with UFOs and their crews in a perimeter about a mile away
from their home in the village of Oakenholt in the Welsh county of Clwyd.
The
first incident occurred in the afternoon, just after the school holidays.
Darren
was walking on Coed-On Road when observed a flash of metal in a nearby field.
The
boy came to see that it was a silver object in the form of a "bell”
with multiple small square windows which were about 4 feet in size.
The
bell had jet-like tubes and a tail fin
on one end. In the center of the object was a square with a cross. At the
top was a kind of periscope.
The
witness also saw a black line with some strange symbols.
Emerging
from the object were five or six cables about three feet in length containing
blue bulbs that reach the ground.
Along
with the artifact were five or six "men", who walked "like cripples" and
seemed very angry. The humanoids had a height of 4 feet 10 inches, were
completely normal, except they had angular bodies and only a few strands
of hair on their heads. They had four-fingered handsand "wore
mottled silver tops with green trousers".
They
carried guns that had buttons, including a blue button, which when pressed
launched a red beam. They shot at the "blue bulbs" on the
cables and seemed to be trying to destroy them
By
not hitting the “bulbs” they get angry and jumped on them.
One
of the "men" hit a “bulb” with the butt of his gun, and seemed happy
as his "partners" did the same, just leaving one working bulb.
Suddenly,
from the object, by way of a central ramp, emerged a strange creature.
"It
was not unlike a dinosaur, with a green body and red neck. In place of
ears it had long floppy cheeks."
One
of the humanoids made a grunt and the animal returned to the
artifact.
Then
Darren saw a human-like humanoid, with five fingers, pink face and long
hair.
It
entered he object and seemed to have trouble with the controls of the
aircraft.
"He
was wearing a white 'T' shirt". The
man looked at a photograph on the wall, which resembled the boy’s
neighbor.
Inside
the object everything seemed smaller but when the humanoids were outside they
seemed bigger.
Jenny
Randles and Paul Whetnall indicate that: "The
observation ended, he claims, when at one point all the "men"
briefly looked the other way and he ran from his hiding place behind a
larnp-post. That night, from his bedroom, Darren states he saw the ship leave
with only theblack cross illuminated."
The
observation of his sister Gaynor occurred on Saturday July 13:50 am, in a
different location from the Coed-On Road while she was riding a bicycle
in an isolated area.
Suddenly, like
her brother, a metallic glint caught her attention.
It
came from a field that was in a slight valley, and she could observe everything
from behind a hedge.
She
observed, about 20 yards away, an elongated, silver cigar,
about thirty-five feet long and ten feet high; "along the base was a narrow
rim and on top a dull red box. Three rectangular windows were seen along
the side (with a fourth partly visible round the right hand edge). These
were all different shades of yellow blending into one another."
Gyanor
thought it was a carnival attraction or part of a parade, and she observed it
very attentively.
Then
a humanoid, about five feet, five inches tall "who came from the
UFO, had a very thin and angular. He walked jerkily, in sidesteps, and his
knee joints were three quarters of the way up his leg. His elbows, too,
were pointed and his face was long, thin, and terribly pale".
His
eyes were large and round, white with a little pink in the center; his
nose was stubby, and he had a flat mouth that was just a slit with many white
teeth.
On
his head were only a few sandy hair strands.
The
hands had three very pointed fingers and a “wobbly” thumb.
The
humanoid wore a one piece garment without zippers covering it from the
feet to the head, where he had a helmet with a glass bubble in front.
From
the helmet sprang a tube joined to an object he had on his back in the form of
heart.
He
was wearing boots like a deep-sea diver with thick soles and silver colored.
In
his left hand he held a very simple "shaped L" gun with a
button in the form of a crescent, to shoot.
The
humanoid was pointing to the ground and the gun became wavy like red
lightning "slower than a
light being switched on."
He
shot a hole in the
ground the size of a cup. The humanoid reached down to feel his way
around the appliance and made six shots equal to the first, repeating
the same movements.
Randles
and Whetnall indicate that: "In
each case the soil had just melted away, leaving no grass, just a hole.
Gaynor had now been watching for 10-15 minutes, and she was uncomfortable
and frightened.”
At
that time, Gaynor made a small noise and the humanoid that
was just ten feet from her, stared at her.
The
girl felt cold inside and momentarily dizzy. At that moment, a telepathic
message came to her mind: the humanoid knew it was a girl and would not cause
her any harm.
The
being continued his task of making holes occasionally looking at the witness,
who was returning from the physical symptoms of cold and dizziness.
The
artifact descended and another humanoid emerged.
Gaynor
said it was a woman, though somewhat lower in stature, but dressed in the
same way.
Gaynor
only hears sounds like the cries of a dog.
At
the female humanoid’s waist was a serrated knife, but Gaynor did not see how it
was held; there was no belt.
The
humanoid, leaned over and began scraping holes. She also looked at the
girl, and seemed very upset by her presence.
"After
a total period which Gaynor estimated from her watch as thirty minutes, there
was, again, a whimpering sound, slightly lower in pitch this time, and the
woman looked up towards the sun. She then proceeded towards the object, which
lowered as she got closer. She walked up to it, and as she did so, Gaynor
noted the box on top of the cigar started pulsing deep red. Seizing the
opportunity Gaynor fled, badly gashing her knee on the hedge in her panic. (Her
mother recalls the gash.”
When
she rode away on her bicycle, she heard a faint hum as the object rose between
the clouds. The next day her brother Darren went to the place of his sister’s
encounter and found an oval spot dyed silver but the holes were not there.
The
two incidents were released by a local researcher who made a detailed report to BUFORA. All
researchers involved in the research emphasized the credibility of the
witnesses.
